Admission Strength: 100 per annum academic year starts from July. Admission of students shall be once in a year. In 1995 the 1st batch of Nurses graduated and thereafter 13 batches graduated with cent percent results and State I and State II ranks in the final year Govt. Board Examinations.

Apollo School of Nursing is at Vanagaram to Ambattur Main Road, Ayanambakkam, Chennai-600 095. It is spread over an area of 14 acres of land.

Here we sport, modern, state-of-the-art well-equipped Classrooms, Laboratories, Staff rooms, Conference rooms, Examination hall, Auditorium & full furnished Hostel.
 
Admission Criteria
Age limit for Admission

The candidate should have completed the age of minimum 17 years and maximum 35 years (only unmarried girls)
 
Educational qualification

The candidate should have passed HSC /10 +2 any subject with 40% marks
 
Admission Procedure

Admission cannot be claimed as a matter of right and the institution reserves the right of Admission through

Entrance test.

Personal interview by the selection committee.

Final selection of candidate will be subject to selection committee and medical fitness.

 
Payment of Fees

All candidates shall pay the prescribed fees fixed from time to time to the school subject to rules & regulations of Apollo Hospitals Educational Trust.
 
School Hours

The ordinary school day shall consist of not less than 8 hours. The school will be functioning full day from Monday to Saturday between 8.30a.m. to 4.30 p.m.)
 
Medium of Instruction

The medium of Instruction of the course will be in English.
 
Curriculum

Academic year starts from 1st July of every year.
 
Attendance

The students are required to have minimum of 80% attendance in each year to attend Govt. Board Examination.
 
Holidays

Minimum of 4 weeks vacation will be given each year.Sunday, Second and Fourth Saturdays are Holidays. 15 days will be declared as National & Festival Holidays for the year.
 
Uniform

Students are required to wear the prescribed uniform of Apollo Hospitals. Students shall be well groomed and disciplined at all times.
 
Placement

Students, after completion of the course are expected to do two years on the job clinical exposure. After successful completion of the course, Students will be inducted in our Apollo Hospitals and its branches on regular employment.
